Dr. Jan Procházka worked for many years in the USA, where he dealt with issues of studying and developing the production technology and practical use of nanomaterials based on inorganic oxides.
As part of this research, he was interested in the possibility of using lithium nanomaterials to produce a completely new generation of high-performance batteries, including the possibility of developing unique spatial (3D) electrodes based on these materials, which would allow creating a new generation battery cell with a higher capacity than a 2D (planar) structure.
After returning to the Czech Republic, Ing. Procházka in intensive research, which resulted in the founding of the company HE3DA s.r.o., where he and his team developed 3D battery technology to its current practically usable form.
Dr. Jan Procházka is the author of a number of patents in this area and the HE3DA® technology is globally patented.
