Ing. Michal Skřépek

Ing. Michal Skřepek graduated from Transport and Manipulation Technique of VSB-TUO, College of Mines – Technical University of Ostrava, where he afterwards received a doctorate in the field of Energy Machines and Equipment. After his studies, he worked in several companies as a designer – Deputy Head of Design / Beginning Designer. In 2010, he returned to the VEC Research Energy Center of the VSB-TUO, where he built a monitoring center for large photovoltaic power plants. He has been the head of a monitoring center for eight years, he is well aware of the operation and failure of photovoltaic power plants. It analyzes the operational data and focuses on the collection, transmission, quality and presentation of data.

He designed 2 monitoring software – Sunnyguard for monitoring large photovoltaic power plants and EnergoGuard for monitoring businesses, municipalities and business centers. Over time, the product portfolio has been extended to include industrial businesses, shopping centers and municipalities. He programmes and manages the VEC Information Technology Department.
